I still want to know what our colleague did to get the lady's knickers in such a knot?

If he wants to make a joke like that, self deprecating humor is a better choice.

And depending on the situation, where this particular "dress down" occured, no telling how many people heard the officer make such a poor decision to reveal your information...

You didnt DRAW DOWN on her? Whats wrong with you, us gun nuts are Cowboys jumping at every shadow, clinging to our guns and religion.
In the future when stealing someones parking spot, have your gun out from the get go
