I swung by the Academy off Town East Rd and 635 - they still had them at full price. Maybe the guy at the counter was unaware, but he told me $239 for a Rem870. :(
I'd like to find a Mossberg Silver Reserve O/U at the gunshow too, or a Benelli Nova. May be a very productive day tomorrow.....

cyphur- There is a $30.00 mail in rebate on the 870. Reg. price is $239.00 right now price is $228.00. Still a good price even if you have to wait 6 weeks for the rebate. That was my thinking anyway. It's $198.00 not $189.00 as someone posted earlier

Ah, yes, that makes sense. Just visited Rem's website after reading your post and it is indeed true.
$200 for a brand new 870 is tough to beat.

The $189 was lat week's price. $239 - $30 rebate - $20 off any gun.
The current flyer shows the $198 price.

Had a chance to talk to Ken Crawley(sp) a welknown gunsmith in TX, I was told. He will do some custom work on my gun next week.. I'm excited and his shop is in Kemp TX and I go thru Kemp everytime I go to my in-laws farm in Mabank!!
So what ya' got ??

I came away empty handed, but I now know exactly what I'd like to find.
Just have to get my DL squared away

I left with an additional magazine for my 6946 and a Fobus Double Mag Pouch. Also traded an ammo dealer some unused/unneeded .25 ammo for some .32 auto.
We got there at 9am and by the time we left at noon, it was hot and crowded inside.

Did they have any there? I'd like to get my hands on the stainless version. I was there for about an hour and I didn't see any.
I left with a new mag for my P3AT.

If I can get my well going this morning I will be going today.
Have a few ideas on what I am looking for but basically just shopping.
