Just to pass on a story from my son who also has his CHL. He tells me a very credible LEO told him that during his career he had been faced with this tough "shoot or no shoot" situation several times, and that averaging up those incidents when he had to shoot, each bullet cost $10,000. I frankly found that hard to believe, but the excellent article shared with us here by MoJo makes it believable.
