We had to jet out about 2:15 or so and our squad still had two scenarios to go. I don't know what time they actually finished but I imagine it was close to 5:00. BUT...we got a later start than usual and there were a lot of people there today. They aren't usually that long.

Occasionally, SVRA comes to PSC with CompVest and does a Men's Program that's a little like a mini-IDPA training. The next time williamkevin or I hear of him coming down to PSC, we'll let you know in case you want to start with that.

I don't know when the shooting wrapped up but all score cards where turned in by around 3:45PM

Wow...62 shooters. That's the second month in a row that we've had about that many. We had a great time! I wish we could have stayed and finished the match. I am so sunburned...made a roookie mistake of forgetting sunscreen because it was chilly and overcast.

Our pleasure! It was great to meet you! I second the statement by TLynn about SVRA and his class. He's a great instructor and his class is just perfect for someone curious about, or wanting to start in IDPA. I still take it regularly and learn something new each time. I hope to be able to shoot with you!

I was in such a hurry to leave PSC yesterday, I left my deck chair. It was in Bay X (last on the left before Bay A), green canvas, aluminum tubing with side tray, foldup, Gander Mtn (I think, or one of their brands). Did anyone see it during breakdown, and do you happen to know what became of it?

To those of you on the sidelines, do it. You'll have a lot of fun. The RO's at PSC do a great job making you feel comfortable if you're new to the sport.

So anybody know when the scores will be up?

I'm glad you guys had a good time despite the extended duration. We really do try to be done by noon to 1 but got a late start and probably should have had 5 squads (and maybe a few less swingers).

Scores may be a little late this week as Mr. Cotton was at the TSRA meeting but I'm sure they'll be up soon.

My ammo issues were my own fault and the silver lining is I got more failure drills in Saturday than in the last year of matches put together. I have corrected the seating die and put 50 rounds each through both my Kimber and my STI yesterday testing the corrected ammo and did not have a single problem.

In addition to the men's class SRVA holds during COMPVEST's ladies program on the first Saturday of the month at PSC, Thunder Tactical shooters has a regularly scheduled practice session every Saturday and Sunday morning when there is no match. Both are great for beginners.

Correction:

There is practice time Saturdays and Sundays but you need to be a member in good standing with Thunder Tactical Shooters to practice IDPA and have access to club practice stands.
