Can you give me navigation on how to get to Bud's RIA's?
It's kind of hard to find SIA. I had to go to the 'Store Directory' to list handguns then wade through the list to find them:

http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/inde ... ath/21_876" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That's not RIA's complete offering. I'm sure they can special order you a gun. But the RIA's are THE deal on 1911's. They are made in the Philippines by Armscor:

http://www.armscor.net/Pistols.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hope that helps. ;-)

Thanks for the links to Bud's RIA listing.

I window shop at http://www.budsgunshop.com often,
but I could never find the RIA listings.

When you use Bud's "Quick Search" function there is a large dropdown box
that lists all the gun mfrs, but there is no "Rock Island Arms" listing.

Can you give me navigation on how to get to Bud's RIA's?

On a different note, Smyrna, Georgia is Glock's US home. Do you carry one?

Thanks.

SIA
From the bud's homepage http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php, if you look on the left hand side of the web page there is a field called "store directory". Click the plus sign beside "handguns", and you will get a list of handgun manufacturers that they stock. RIA is toward the end of the list.

Yeah...lots of folks identify Smyrna with Georgia and Glock, but no I don't carry (or own) a Glock. Nothing against them, I just never warmed up to them. Smyrna is also the Biblical name of one of the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation, and also a small community in East Texas.

It's rather odd that the "Handguns +" contains more brands than
the "Power Search."

Also, when you search via the "Handguns +" way and all the
mfrs logos/links come up, why don't they put them in alpha
order to make them easier to find? Sheesh.

I was rather surprised that RIA makes a 14 round 1911. IIRC,
Para Ordnance makes a double stack 1911.

Of the 5 models of RIA 1911's shown on Bud's only 1 was in stock.

I'm kind of torn between getting an XD SC 9 or an XD C 45, or a 1911 when I get a
second gun. Decisions, decisions.
