Congrats! My personal carry choice is a Colt Defender with the same Federal ammo you listed. I carry comfortable in a Sparks VMII

Why I love my .45....

Last week, I always practice from 7yds

On my target, the yellow square highlights 16rds from my Kimber Warrior. It is slightly larger than a quarter. (meant to scan it with quarter, too lazy to redo.)

The smaller holes are 20rds from the SA XD9mm Subcompact.

Gotta love that .45
Its a joy to shoot.

Rey, can we go to the Garland range in the evenings?

Evening shoots are much better! For those of us who still have to work during the day....

By Garland Range do you mean Target Master ?? Well, they close at 9 p.m. Maybe start at 6:30-7:00 p.m.??? Is that a good time for you and Cyphur or are you referring to the open Range off Buckingham??

Refering to TargetMaster.
Easier to get into, and yes, the 6-7pm slot was my reference.

Look a here!!! My long lost buddy from the "waiting room "!! You still hold the class record ?? Yup, Jim.. I still have my Glocks and Sigs but I've been bit by the 1911 bug.. STAY AWAY, it's contagious !! Just pray for my recovery and sent me a few boxes of winchester white box 45acp.
Wanna join me on Monday 10 a.m. in Garland ?? Looks like you're losing the Gun Ranges in your neighborhood..
Know what you mean about the 1911 bug. We got to shoot a few rounds from one at the CCGR last month and it was sweet. Now I see what the 1911 fanatics are raving about. Since I just bought my MP40, I'm going to have to wait on another new gun purchase for awhile.

Actually, I think there are a few that had a longer wait than I did for my CHL. They were probably excaped convicts or something though.

I would like to shoot with you and Leo (?) again. I can't this coming week though. But, we are planning to go to the CCGR one last time on Sat the 25th just to say goodbye. The gun grabbing, anti's, sheeple should be happy. They think they are winning when they close down ranges and take guns away from those who they might need for protection someday. Join us if you can but I know your weekends are spent earning money to buy new guns.
Take care and don't shoot Leo again!!

I've heard nothing but great things about Kimber and the Ultra type guns - especially the Tactical. I know I shoot the Ultra Carry well - I should do even better with the Tactical!

I am honestly crawling out of my skin wanting to get the transaction completed and getting it in my hands.
