I believe you said it was a G27 you can cover that little jewel up with your hat as well, and I agree with TAM just keep your holster on. It might sound stupid but I wondered how I could get my gun into my truck without getting in and I just used the hat on my dashboard to conceal the 2 second motion.
Life is hard, but it's harder when the Rottweiler has a can of pepper spray.
