Thats part of the job my Big Sis does in the Air Force, she has some heart breaking stories.

As for the first pic, its a good pic, shows Raw Emotion and also brings out the fact that this is a War thats not just being fought by Men, but by Women as well.

Not to change the tone of the thread, but if you haven't heard The Warrior Song or seen the video, it's inspirational, too.

Semper Fi to all my Marine friends and a big Hooah! to my Army brothers and sisters.

Navy don't count except for Seebees and Corpsmen. Chair Force, well..... :evil2: :leaving

I keed! I keed! Air Force does a bang up job, as documented by Michael Yon here: http://www.michaelyon-online.com/whispers.htm and here: http://www.michaelyon-online.com/pedros.htm

As an old infantry grunt, I always appreciated seeing the A-10s flying above.

Will someone please explain what we (the USA) are doing and expect to accomplish with our continued involvement in an undeclared war with and among the various tribes in Iraq?
Under the assumption that you are not asking a rhetorical question, quite simply, there are a few of us that believe we have the choice of taking the fight to those that wish to destroy us versus waiting for those to bring the fight to our neighborhood.

And you *REALLY* don't want me to express my opinion regarding Viet Nam.

I'm an ex-squid myself, you have my fullest admiration... at least you can read, aren't a bullet sponge, and aren't some no flying air force guy :)
