Sorry I don't belong to the crowd that has their clothes tailored for their CCW. I'm more of an off the rack kind of person.

When I visit my doctor I just pocket carry my S&W 642. They don't watch me undress and I stack my clothes in a neat little pile away from anything they may have to access. Nobody knows and I never tell.

Well, I know I'll have to disrobe and I know I could do that during the time that they stick you in the second waiting room (a.k.a. examining room), but I'm not sure how he would react when he walks in and there I am in my birthday suit. And what if it were the nurse walking in to get my vitals and there I am in the buff?

Just left it in the car. Besides, there were legal 30.06 signs posted in at least two places. I didn't know that when I made the OP. I'll update Texas3006.com sometime soon.

When I visit the doctor's office, the nurse takes my vitals before leaving me in the examining room. If I'm supposed to strip (or partially), she gives me those instructions at that time, or the doctor says "Strip to the waist" when he wants that done.

Pretty much the same procedure at the clinic at work. (On federal facility, so no carry there, anyway)

However, I'll either leave it in the car, or give it to my wife for safekeeping.

If you need to dress down to the level of no personal clothes, they will be giving you a gown.

Bottom line, if you think there is a chance you will need to disrobe or potentially expose your handgun, leave it in the car.
