Hm. The only shortcoming I see in your story is that you never mentioned being ready (if necessary) to deploy your tacti-can of sterno. :mad5 "rlol"

Other than that, well done!

No offense intended, Joe. I thought it was a great story!

Plus, call me crazy, but I feel a sort of kindred spirit-ness with you...we're practically neighbors, the P95 thing, and we both haunted the waiting room at the same time.

Don't I at least get bonus points for coining the term "tacti-can?"

If I know Joe, he probably had a big grin while reading your post.
If he can put up with all my harassment, nothing can phase him.

P.S.... "tacti-can".. :smilelol5: good one. :thumbs2:

Thanks, USA1.

The problem with this form of communication is that it's really easy to accidentally offend someone, what with the absence of non-verbal cues. I really hate it when that happens.

I wonder if one of those mall ninjas will invent a rail-mount can opener for rapid deployment of the tacti-can?

Hmm. "Hello, Patent Office?" :rules:

Oh, don't be silly Ropin! Of course you didn't offend me! And yes the kindred spirit is with you as well, along with USA1, SIA, TAM, LT, mikeintexas, TLynn......oh gosh the list is almost the entire membership roster of the forum! :tiphat:

I love the term kindred spirits. It has much meaning to me. :cheers2:

I knew I was going to catch some "heat" for saying that, and if it got a chuckle out of you, then it served its purpose. But what I said was the truth.

But what I didn't say was that out of the 5 of us my cousin Morrison(from Parker county) had a .22 bolt action rifle; my cousin Bill(from Scurry county) brought his 16 gage; cousin Jay Hugh(Throckmorton county...his folks place we were staying on) brought his .22 Hi-Standard pistol; Johnny(Tarrant) didn't bring a gun with him...he was the bookworm of the bunch; and I brought my 1873 Colt SAA in .32-20. So you can see where I got "confused".

Like Paul Harvey....and NOW you know the rest of the story. :tiphat: :cheers2:
