When visiting at their homes, Jason and I have taken our Center of Mass lock boxes out of the car and put them in our bags for safekeeping when the gun is not on body. The keys are with our car keys, so they are never in the same place as the boxes.

It looks like you got it nailed...When it becomes second nature, and you maintain that with safety in mind...
There is absolutely no way you can poke holes in that mindset...I wouldn't even worry about it...

This is a great place to get wonderful input from varied sources. So, it's sort of like we're "feeding" each other! I certainly appreciate the input that I've received here.

I would NOT suggest a shoulder holster if the young-un may need to be carried. Been there, done that and won't again ! Spilling my HP on the
floor of a resturant while handing baby back to mom is very embarrasing :(
A good belt type or what the other folks have already suggested.

It is a great site, full of valuable information! I actually just returned from visiting my newest nephew (born on the 21st) and things went great. I guess it just all takes some getting used to!
I am sorry I missed you in Pasadena on Sat. I hope you and your dad had a great time!

I saw Jason, but was hoping to see you too.
I bought a gun, but it doesn't work. I'm sending it back to the manufacturer Monday.
If I keep it, I thought about getting a holster for IDPA with it. Does the company that made your pink holster make them in zebra stripe?

I am sorry that the gun didn't work. Hopefully the manufacturer will be able to fix it. The company that made my pink holster was

I don't know if they make zebra stripes or not, but I know Jason was told no a lot of times before he found someone who would do pink kydex. Mine was a birthday gift, so I did not look at a catalog or anything - - it was a total surprise. All you can do is ask!
