I surely hope so. Walking around with an empty holster and belt to break them in feels lame, but at least it's going to make things more comfortable when I do get my license. *sigh*

Hey K,
Did you have to update or resend anything? I'm beginning to wonder how much that slows down the process. I had to send new photos. I received their letter on a Thursday and sent new photos the following Monday. I'm still in the Background check under review process weeks later.

I did not have to send anything else in or fix anything. You got your new pictures in pretty quickly, it shouldn't slow things down too much. Things seem to be breaking loose for a lot of people now, I'm sure yours isn't far behind.

Turns out mine wasn't that far behind. Sometime this morning it changed to Background check completed and Manufacturing pending. I guess I can stop sulking as well as feeling left out.

if i just changed to manufacturing pending, you are probably 10-14 days from receipt of your license (roughly of course)

Congrats to all that received their plastic this week. Woke up this morning and out of habit checked the dps site to find my background check complete. Almost there just ONE MORE STEP.

Mine is still stuck. After the wreck I had to deal with that took out my wife's Grand Prix on the I35, this is not the kind of news I want to see. I'd just like to see that background check as complete. What's to check on me? Good God.

ender018, I think up till now, you have received your licence but the same thing happened with me but I have not received my licence till now. Really, don't know about the reason which is lie behind it so anyone has idea about this why I didn't get my licence which was already applied before 5 months.

Do you think the background check will take longer for me since im under 21? been waiting for the background check part for about a month now :(
