He can do the same as someone printing does when their gun gets snatched or snagged.

I will take my chance with an IWB under a shirt than a bag of any kind any day.

I've got one and I'll probably be using it quite a bit (at least until we have a parking lot law in Texas

). I've also got a Kholster IWB so I have the option depending on how the poll turns out.

Not as long as you intend to carry this way. The real question (I don't know the answer FOR YOU) is: Is this the best way for me to carry my firearm when I consider all of the issues of safety, accessibility, concealment, comfort, chances I will carry wherever legal, costs, etc.
What works best for you, is just that: Your own personal best choice.
Can you (learn to) get this weapon out under pressure when you are already behind the curve due to criminal attack?
We have been working quite a bit to "access" our weapons under those conditions and frankly a lot of people will have trouble getting it out (we did) of an OPEN carry holster in those conditions, must less from the bottom of a purse etc.

Like "Purplehood" suggested...Concealed is concealed...
But in this day and age where most in our community are hyper aware of things we see...This thing looks and quacks like a fanny pack...
So I would not wear something like this because if we can tell what it "really" is, then folks who are not inclined to believe as we do about concealed carry, they'll figure it out as well, and you may not want that kind of analysis and attention...But then again, what can they do about it...Not much...
The only thing I see as an absolute positive, is that it doubles as a great concealer, and tactical and accessable holster for a vehicle carry option...That to me is a great design, and if I didn't have a passenger that might get swept in a situation where I had to draw, then that is perfect in my book...
Just my opinion...
BTW, I have my own hangups when it comes to carry...I wear Hawaiian shirts that scream GUN all the time...

These responses are exactly why I I love this forum. A person can always expect to find something to make him or herself think. So, the Safepacker being what it is, I'm planning to do my Wally Walk using the Kholster. Now, if I can just find someone who'll take some photos. Haven't gotten a friend to commit yet and neither I nor my spouse have a phone with a camera...(wouldn't want Wally to kick me out for haulin' around a digital SLR...

)
Thanks Guys!

If all else fails you can go to the mirror isle and take pics of yourself.
When I did my WW, I had my wife and son taking pics with a digital camera.
We tried to be discrete but it wasn't easy with all the snickering and laughing we were doing.
However you have to do it, just do it. We live for WW pictures.

I voted "no" is isn't cheating.....but personally it isn't for me. I can see it being handy for in the vehicle, but I am not sure I would want to keep up with it outside the vehicle. At least if the gun is straped on to me I am not going to leave it behind somewhere....like a Drury Inn for example!
Enjoy the Wally Walk

I carry my Taurus PT92 in the LARGE Safepacker in Walmart a LOT. It wraps around my double layer kydex reinforced Comp-Tac belt and I really can't imagine anyone "snatching it" it is so secure. However, if they somehow had an electric carving fillet knife and managed to cut my belt off, I'd probably draw my Glock 26 from my 3:00 IWB or my PT709 from my crossdraw IWB or my Diamondback BUG from my pocket and hit them in the head with it repeatedly in the 20 minutes it takes them to cut it off my belt.
Heck no that's not cheating if it's on your belt .... but yes it's cheating if you sew pink glittery lace on it and carry it like a purse. (kidding).
Personally, I cut off the little square tag that says Safepacker. But, takes as much guts to walk around with a Safepacker on your belt OWB as it does to walk around with an IWB, even more maybe if you worry people will ask what it is, since it's more visible. (NO ONE has EVER asked me what it is. I wish they would so I could say it's my PDA [Personal Defense Assistant] or an emergency medical device to quickly lower blood pressure if needed.... but, no one asks.) I had thought of putting a medical symbol/first aid kit/tool kit or something on it, but less is better... no one asks.

Apparently so if you go by all the crime show 'stiffs'. You just never see a big fat bald 50 years old beer bellied redneck on the slab do you?

Thats why I look like that!....it is safer

For me the point of a wally walk is to test out your carry method and comfort level with it in real-world conditions.
If you pocket carry a LCP for your wallywalk and that's your EDC, you're doing it right.
If you pocket carry a LCP for your wallywalk but plan to carry a larger gun IWB as your EDC, that's cheating. But you're only cheating yourself.

wow man, i need to come to these forums more often. I was looking high and low for something like this years ago. I really wanted something like this to carry as a satchel type thing and I'm betting that would slide in my briefcase beautifully. I love the option for attaching it to a seat belt too. I'm going to get one of these. Awesome!!!
