Well, I finally got back out to ARC and shot my first IDPA event yesterday morning. Many thanks to our squad's SO, our very own forum member AggieMM, for his guidance and tips. I had a BLAST! Anyone who hasn't tried it before really should come out and shoot a match. I'm hoping to get out for another match soon, either at ARC or at the Cedar Ridge range in Comal County.

For anyone else who was there yesterday, I was the fat guy shooting Glock and wearing yellow-tinted glasses and a bright red Houston Cougars hat.
