I did not see a form number on it and did not get to keep a copy. Maybe Crossfire can shed some light on this.

Here's the one operated by the government: http://www.archives.gov/veterans/milita ... e-records/

There are also commercial companies that can expedite a DD-214 quicker than the government, for a fee.

I did mine through eVetRecs (available through the link above). You still have to print, sign, & mail or fax a form, but it was pretty fast once I faxed it in. As I recall, it was under a month. Since I wasn't in a hurry, it worked fine for me.

Thanks for the links guys. I'm not in any hurry.

I haven't heard from Crossfire yet. She said she'd look into that new form at Cabelas.
