Absolutely. Our needs do vary, and that's exactly the problem. Generic solutions will be a compromise for most people; whereas specific solutions tend to be the best suited to the individual. Unfortunately, it often requires some experimentation (which can be costly) to find that right solution.
Touché, either I'm lucky and got it right the first time or haven't had anything else to compare it to and don't know what I'm missing because I'm cheap.
Slinco, is it easy to pull that LCP outta there? Seems like it'd wedge itself in there a bit.

It actually comes out pretty easy with a little practice. yes it does sit pretty low and does wedge in there a bit but its super comfy and secure-so far!
Like I said, it's not ideal but it works for a quick trip or just messing around the property. Just another tool in the box.

OTH, $25 is a pretty darn good price. I've been thinking of getting a paddle type belt slide for 1911s as a kind of "grab and go" holster for the reasons you stated, and also for the "empty holster" reasons I stated above, but it just hasn't been that high on my list of priorities.
