Never saw a posted BofA but my other bank I use has a gunburger sign. Since I know it doesn't apply to me the wife and I just waltz past. I'm pretty sure it's just window dressing for the anti's out there.

The only time I have had someone point a gun at my body was at a bank.

They were however not in compliance with the CHL law listed above.

I walked into a bank today with my gun.
I walked out with an extra $225 in my wallet.

Unfortunately, during that time, my savings account lowered by $225.

Since our BofA has been robbed more than once, I will not go in there "naked."

Never felt odd about carrying in a bank. It's one of the times i figure I'm more likely to be a target since a would be robber sees me leaving. I could have a pocket full of cash.

The part about very few people having CHLs is clear from the number of licenses issued v. the population of the state. The other part came from reading this forum and from talking to people.

Nope, you're wrong-It is everyone, not most that feel like they're being stared at when they first start carrying. It's perfectly natural, just like new drivers being awkward and overly cautious; though I'm sure there are those who would say that they were never awkward when they first started driving.

That is a pretty good analogy.

While carrying a gun in a bank may be "normal and perfectly legal" I had never done it before and did feel strange. I have only been carring for a few months and it gets easier all the time. Just sayin

There is always an armed guard at my credit union, but when I greet him, I think to myself, "Thanks, but I brought my own."

Nope, but you have stumbled into an environment were smart comments and belittling members is not appreciated by anyone.

Second-guessing people's statements about how things happened and how they felt about it when you don't know them, weren't there and have no way of knowing what they were thinking isn't much appreciated either.

Saying "speak for yourself" to someone is not belittling. That's how he felt. It isn't how I felt.

Someone made a comment about how "everyone" feels a certain way when he first starts carrying. That person is quite simply wrong because "everyone" doesn't. And I'll guarantee that I am not the only person who didn't feel that people were staring at me waiting to get a peek at my gun. It isn't even a legitimate statement because he has no way of even knowing "everyone," let alone how they all feel or what they all think.

Words mean things and they should be used properly.
