Didn't your daddy teach you not to shoot where you eat?

Sounds like there are only three that can do it today. Including myself, there's TAM and Brian. That's not bad to start with. If you guys, and anyone else can make it today I think I'll just plan on being out there at 3 o'clock and see who I run into. We know what TAM looks like. My range bag is an ammo can. I shouldn't be too hard to spot.

I probably can't make it today, but I'd love to the next time. I'll subscribe to this thread and watch for the next meet-up.

I'll be there. I'll likely be bringing The Annoyed Woman and The Annoyed Boy too. I'll be the gimpy fat guy with the white hair. No, I won't be wearing The Hat.

Since I am unable to attend today, I went to the range yesterday with an old friend, put about 150 holes in paper. He fired my Beretta, and he let me fire both of his .45's. One Colt and one Springer. Sweet!!!!!

Going to the range with friends is great!

Ya'll have fun and keep us posted on future get togethers!

The Annoyed Woman would prefer to stay home and put her feet up, so it looks like it'll be just me and my son. Y'all will like him a lot. He's a real standup guy, and a superb shot. He turns 21 in January, and he'll be applying for his CHL straightaway.

That works for me. I'll see you there. I've met TAM once before, so I should be able to find you.

Guys, that was a lot of fun! We'll have to do that again.

C-dub got there first, and then me. BrianSW99 showed up right after I did. The Annoyed Woman and The Annoyed Boy elected to stay home and not shoot, but they joined us afterward for dinner. We got lanes 5, 6, & 7. We shot for about an hour. I brought my M&P 45, my 5" Springfield 1911, and I had my Kimber Ultra on my hip and my M&P340 in my pocket. I never did get to unlimber the Kimber, but I had fun shooting the other three guns. Plus, I get a kick out of passing them around and letting other people try them - not that they are anything real special or anything, but it's always fun to try different things.

Afterward, we repaired to Burritos Locos where we had great conversations, good Mexican food, and a pitcher of beer. Or maybe two. Anyway, I had a real good time. Thank you C-dub for organizing the outing.

The Grandsons, Son-in-law, Wife and I have spent the last few days dove hunting and didn't see the thread until today. I'd love to join in next time there is a gathering.

And you'd be welcome. BTW, I bought an over and under 12 gauge and started to learn skeet shooting. I'll be ready for one of those bird hunts some day.

We did have a good time. Can't wait to do it again next month!

TAM let met shoot his 1911 and I was very much surprised by the kick. I expected more, but it wasn't too different from my .40. It was different, but TAM explained why and I thought that was pretty cool.
