Only in my .380 where I carry 100 grain flat-nosed along with 95 grain JHPs all above standard pressure to give me "almost" a weak lightweight low pressure 9mm ballistics .... about similar to a 9x18 Makarov
In all other caliber guns I carry, I use JHP only.

The second article listed is entitled "The Myth of Cover". Extremely informative, and an excellent read. It is a PDF, so I couldn't link the article directly. Sorry. He has some other great articles on there as well, if you are so inclined.

FWIW; The author, and primary instructor of this school is an old neighbor of mine. Great guy, and always an extremely interesting conversation to be had.

(I am in no way affiliated with his training school, and I do not profit from posting his link.)
The second article shouldn't be the only one that you read. This guy has a lot of good things to say, so read all of his articles. Of particular interest were his comments on weapon safeties and their use in crisis situations.

My carry magazines are all loaded with JHP's.

My Bug out bag, and Tactical Vest for Z-day are filled with mags loaded with FMJ, because when the zombies come, over penetration WON'T be a problem, it'll be a bonus! :thumbs2:
