In Friendswood January 26 around 8 p.m. three men robbed a home in the 500 block of Heather Lane. The robbers apparently entered through an unlocked door.

They ordered three residents, brothers age 18, 14, and 12, into a bedroom while they ransacked the house for 30 minutes.
The robbers wore black clothing and gloves. No further description is provided.
The victims in this case were "minorities" whose family owned a local business.
Police don't know whether this robber is related to the similar robbery earlier in this thread. The two locations are close.

In each of my classes, I tell my students that "when you have a gun on you, it's your gun. When you set it down somewhere else, it's everyone's gun." This is directed primarily at women who carry in their purse, but it applies to all of us every time we take off our gun any put it anywhere other than the safe. I'm not saying never take your gun off, but since it becomes everyone's gun, make sure "everyone" doesn't include someone you don't want to touch it.
