Re: Way to go RANGERS

I'm not really a baseball fan, but I am pulling for the Rangers in the series. But I have to say, did they really stink that bad, or are the Giants really that good? The Rangers pitchers are getting absolutely shelled, and the Giants just look so confident and dominant. Are they really that good, or did the real Rangers just not show up to play?
Back in 1977, I was living in NYC when the series faced the Dodgers against the Yankees. Being from L.A., I was rooting the Dodgers. The first two games were at Yankee Stadium, and the Dodgers won both. I was pretty cocky at work about it. The Yanks won the next four (three of them at Dodger Stadium) and the series. The next year, 1978, the Dodgers faced the Yankees in the World Series again. Again, the Dodgers win the first two (at home), and the Yankees win the next four.
The Dodgers were good those two seasons. The Yanks were dominant. I'm afraid that's what I'm seeing so far in this series so far, and its disheartening. I'd sure like to see our boys get some of their fight back.
