We need to press our legislators to change the name of our licenses. "Pistol Toters License" sounds kinda neat. I can just hear it: "Officer, here's my drivers license and my pistol toters license."

I do appreciate all of the info you have replied with. It has taken me a while to get back and read them all. I have a lot on my plate right now....work (on call 24/7)...buying a house....4 1/2 week old daughter (the love of my life) and in the process of moving. I look forward to getting to the range this weekend. I am taking this Saturday off of work. Anyway, thanks again for the input and I will keep you all posted with my next purchase.

Personally I'll never go to Pro Defense again. Every time I go there (even ince they were next to Academy) it's been bad. The lst time I went in to buy some ammo. One guy ahead of me with one employee helping him. As I wait for help, a LEO comes in. Another guy comes out, ignores me and helps the LEO. There's a shop in Clute - never been there but they seem to have a good assortment of .45's. Check out their web site.

Since the economy's pretty good, politics has gone to the birds, and civil unrest is 15 minutes away in any situation...

And we're coming up on the holiday season...I believe everyone is in a buying mood...

I think just about every participant in this forum will have bought at least one new toy, possibly two for some as well before the end of the year...

I bet we see a lot of folks scooping up .45's (1911's), and some combat tupperware types before the years out...

Stocking up on ammo etc etc...

It's a buyers market this year...And the manufacturers are just chomping at the bit to get products out there for us...

Lots to choose from...I'm kinda jazzed by the whole thing...

I have a small assortments of .45s you can try.
This ranging from a full size USP - which is DA/SA, to a Glock 30 - which is Safe Action, and a few 1911s - which is Single Action.
And yes, ElGato - Tom has a wide variaty of firearms you can try too and he is very knowledgable.

And if you want to try a 9mm, you can also try my Glock 19. I love that little mouse gun. Hehe.

I've been good this year. I haven't bought any firearms since Feb of this year. Hehe. And buying that Dillon pretty much drained my wallet for the year. Not to mention going to Vegas in December. This year has been expensive. lol.

I just had to jump in. I like Glock's. I realy like to carry my G-26, but I found a new and I mean new G39 in a Pawn shop for $4oo. I love it, the 45 gap will do the job.

Funny how we all migrate to different styles and calibers but we like to shoot them all.

Yeah, I've been collecting and counting all my spare change to see what I can afford to buy for myself this Christmas.

I think. Probably most people when faced with a situation when they must use their gun, will not shoot as straight and as sure as they do when target practising. Hit me in the leg with a small rock and I'll keep running. Hit me in the leg with a boulder and I'll probably fall. I have a 380 , a 9mm. & a 45, I'll tote the 45 when I can.
