Never been there myself, but this thread just insured I won't go in the future. Nothing at that place I can't find anywhere else.

Has anyone entered this on texas3006.com yet?
Edit: Yes, all three locations are on texas3006.com

Ah old memories of traders village in gp. Used to work at "Fredy's firearms" way back in the day!

I used to go to the one in the Houston area for the chili and BBQ cookoffs but not anymore since getting my CHL. Besides, the cookoffs were at the back of the place and I had to navigate through all the riff raff to get back there.

Here's the irritating thing for me: I went to the Traders Village in Houston, and was riding in the back right seat of a Jeep Commander, and was knodding off when we pulled through the gate. Outside of the complex was the ol' Gun Busters sign, but no 30-06 posting. I proceeded to carry in and walked around all day with my cc on my person, and left. Not until later when getting on TexasCHLForum to check who else noticed the gun buster sign did I hear about posting the 30-06 sign at the parknig booths. Which brings about the issue, does this mean that they've given everyone in that vehicle legal notice, since it's not necessarily visible to every passenger in the car? My driver doesn't carry and wouldn't have known to inform me of said sign, nor did any of the passengers know I was carrying, either.

I went on Saturday as well.
Prior to going, I checked Texas3006.com and it stated that it was legally posted, so upon parking, I put the gun away..
I was the driver, and I didn't notice the sign - as I look for signs when walking to buildings, not at the booths of any event I go to when I have to pay for parking.
I didn't carry and do not feel that I was given sufficient notice - as I actually felt that I had received NO NOTICE, as it was not on the entrances when I walked in and I did not notice it at the booth for parking.

It's been a year and a half since I've been to the one in Houston. The sign that "gimador" shows a picture of on page one of this post was in front of all the booths as you paid for parking - pretty hard to miss. Once you parked your vehicle and walked in all that was posted at the pedestrian entrances were normal "gunbuster" signs.

Maybe so, but I was watching the car in front of me, the toll booth operator and didnt see any signs but the $3.00 parking sign.

I just went there last weekend with my family to check it out for the first time. I check the Texas 30.06 app and saw concealed carry was not allowed so I left my gun at home. I thought it was better than leaving it in the car to get broken into. We were there for about three hours looking at "garage sale" items. This was the one in Houston, not very impressive!

The only way I would go to Traders Village is if I were armed. Too much rif-raf out there
