Mine shows the same thing. rmr and I both mailed ours off the same day and both got a status update Tuesday of this week. It posted 8 days after mailing it off, but I'm sure it had a few more travel days coming from Houston than yours did being sent from Austin. Mine looks the same as I'm sure yours does. They are all green except for the first 2 and the last 2. Kinda freaked me out at first too.

Based on the performance of my Astros, Texans and Longhorns this past year I think I might be due for a win.

Not to get too far off-topic, I'm with you on the Astros and Texans, but my Aggies actually finally had their first good season in a while. At least my other football team (Jets) are still in the hunt. At least for one more day anyway.

Took the class back in December. Submitted my application online on 1/14 and mailed the paperwork today with First Class. My waiting has just begun!!

Welcome to the party, kcsen! FYI: Even though I check the DPS site several times a day for progress I have noticed that my status updates only occur after 5pm. Probably just me but they might be doing batch processing instead of real-time so check after work. We are also distracting ourselves with football now so Cheddar Heads rejoice and go Jets!

Does anyone know how long the Background Check component usually takes after your fingerprints are accepted?

I'm in the system, , everything appears to be in order, mailed paper app. on Jan. 5th they received it on the 10th and I'm in the system on the 17th. fingers crossed that I will have plastic by the 31st

so far they've been good about responding to email inquiries the same day i've asked, but i attempted to call a few minutes ago about something that would be easier to ask over the phone. i got through to the CHL division and their answering machine picked up after 1 ring, played their New Year's Eve message, and at the end told me to call back January 3rd, 2011 if i have any questions. anyone have a delorean?
