The problem with the electors in her constituency is that many of them choose to have a connection with cannabus related materials. Add in some union rubber stamping at the ballot box and it is hard for the sane Kalifornias (both of them) to have an impact at the ballot box.

If Kalifornia ends up going bankrupt, will that nullify Boxer's election?

...I had that same thought before I even clicked on it...she thinks the states will do her little errands...has she got another think coming...we are all but serfs to do her slightest bidding...she needs a new job...7-11 comes to mind...

That would be cruel to 7-11 customers. I think she'd be better suited to follow the elephants in a parade.

Since Tucson shooter was stopped because of the use of foot-long mags which were easier to grab, as opposed to the non-stoppable shooters who used standard-sized magazines which no one could grab as they were reloaded so fast so they racked up higher body counts, I'm surprised no one filed a bill that all concealed handguns must use foot-long mags, so they'd be easy for bystanders to grab. It's just common sense.

(I actually e-mialed this to Boxer, not that she'll understand, or care)

"Using the Tuscon tragedy as a reminder" - I'd like to know how that law, would it have been in effect, would have prevented the crazy guy from shooting all those people. He still would have done the same thing only he would have started 'breaking the law' when he first concealed the gun. Does she think the fear of the lesser crime would prevent the greater crime?

This is one of the most important and valid arguments against all gun control. Gun owners as a group need to keep making this argument every chance we get.

Personally I find it interesting that Senator Boxer is so racist that she supports going back to laws that for well over a century have been used to deny minorities the right to defend themselves.

It seems to me that the idea of Boxer's bill is twofold. First, it would eliminate Constitutional Carry in Alaska, Vermont, Arizona, and any other states that might pass it. Second, with this, the DOJ (Eric Holder and company) could impose standards for licensure for CHL that would severely limit the number of citizens who could qualify. Can you say, "Annual Certificate of Mental Health" from a shrink? I suspect that the devil will be in the details with DOJ or BATFE given regulatory power of states' CHL programs. Just sayin'.
