Man, I knew tuition had gotten outrageous since I went to college 30 years ago, but I had no idea!
If it's only $10k, I'm guessing he's got financial aid covering the tuition, and the cash is just for lab fees.

Well, it is $10k every week... so that might partially cover tuition... maybe.

What state is he from that it's worth that much in out-of-state tuition to not have to study closer to home? Even if I had to go out of state for a particular degree, I'd sure look at getting the basics taken care of at home.

He sounds like a spoiled kid complaining the lease payment on his BMW is higher than paying a car loan for a used Honda Civic.

On the other hand, he's from California, so he probably can't legally carry in his car in the campus parking lot if he goes to an in-state school. :mrgreen:
