Seems like 10-12 days is the average time 'til received from online status.
I just hope I get my plastic before my road trip in the middle of March.

Took the class in October 2008 (I was a little early on my 5 years for a class B)
Mailed the packet to Austin yesterday (2/12/2011)

My husband and I moved here from IA two years ago. Does anyone know if this will effect the time it takes to do the background check? I keep checking our status and the "background check" hasn't changed in a LONG TIME!
Just wondering if it because of coordination with another state.

Might take a little bit longer due to being out of state but I would not expect a huge delay.

Right at 5 weeks start to finish.

Went from pending manufacturing last night directly to mailed this morning!!!!! Maybe I will have it by this weekend or hopefully sooner. It can only be a day or two from Austin to Dallas.

Don't get too excited, but most are noticing about 10 days from "mailed" to actually receiving of their CHL. Mailed could be a generic term for sitting in a room waiting to get batch mailed.

I'm assuming you did FAST fingerprints? The race was on but i think you are going to get yours before me now

Ya the course I took included electronic prints but they were not the fast prints.
