Here I was thinking, "Ok, what kind of gun store accepts wives as legal tender?"

I read it a third way, like when someone says "I want to buy a rifle for deer."

Hey, I bought my wife a gun for Valentine's day this year! It wasn't a surprise though, she finally found one she likes and thinks she can carry.

Speaking as a wife, I would be thrilled to receive a gun as a gift for any of these occasions... and more. Any day is a good day to receive a gun. It is the ultimate perfect gift! Then again, my husband usually has to put the brakes on my urges to buy guns.
