Interesting, I went into the capitol this afternoon. Used the CHL line, the trooper never asked me if I was carrying.

Now, this was a Friday afternoon, and no one else was queued up waiting to get through the line. Perhaps that's why I wasn't queried? On the other hand, I came back to the same trooper a few minutes later, and asked him if there were any off-limits areas I had to avoid. He took great pains to tell me that he was not asking/would not ask me whether or not I had a gun on me as we discussed the issue of off-limits areas (there weren't any, at least that day w/o the legislature meeting).
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

I think it is funny...It's going to put the onus on those who may get the urge to put their hypocracy where their mouth is...

Those that "don't believe in guns" are just going to have to go through the line like the rest of the subjects...Or go get a CHL...

Personally, I don't think this bill is going to go very far...Just my opinion...
