I might actually see if I want to head up that way today or tomorrow...

Our Thanksgiving was strucke short, as I was expecting to stay until Sunday late morning up at the farm untiol heading bak to Houston then...

Somehow someway, Thanksgiving was not to be this year...

I was feeling ok Wednesday and Wednesday evening, and woke up Thursday (Thanksgiving) with about the worse case of fever and what we thought was a stomach virus I have ever had...I spent all day in the back bedroom listening to all the conversation and clinking of silverware and feeling really crappy all day...Couldn't keep a thing down even if it was tied to an anchor...

We woke up Friday morning and packed up and headed home...

Steve was not a happy camper...And I am still feeling rather crappy...

We'll have to wait and see I suppose...

BTW, if anyone that does go to the Conroe show does see a "deal" on what we're looking for, lemme know...I may wait till Sunday to head up there...

I'm trying to see if I can encourage and motivate the "Wife Unit" into helping put up the Christmas tree and other holiday cheer up around the house maybe today...I don't like seeing her in this kinda funk...Stress does that to people...

Sorry you missed your Thanksgiving feast, Stevie. Now you and my daughter have something in common! Hmmm.... I hope it's not the same illness. At least she was able to manage the pumpkin pie.

Anyway, try peppermint tea. It always works to help calm the upset tummies around here, and it's appropriately festive for this time of year! I've heard that its also a good hangover remedy, but I personally wouldn't know anything about that... ;-)

Take care!

Update...

Shhhhhhh, don't tell Wife Unit...

It is in the gunsafe as we speak...Along with diamond stud earrings, a 4 gig "flash card stick", and some microwave heating pads thingies...

Steve was very good this year!!!

I have no idea what I'm getting this year...

Any guesses???
