Apparently I'm doing a poor job of trying to make a point. My bad. Let me try this again.
I kinda doubt that any of the comments were typed by folks who have read the reports. I doubt that the News snchor on the TV station read the reports. Perhaps some have.
Reports aren't always the absolute Gospel. Former Secetary Of State, Mr. Powell discovered that. In these pages, a kid talking on a cell 'phone was beat down by a couple of hired security guys. From what I've read here, the Police report seemed to impily that the victim was the subject. I haven't read those either, but I did see the video.
You mentioned that the DPS has evicence of wrong doing. Perhaps they do. But, 'till it is examined in open court, that 'evidence' is just an unfounded rumor.
Sometimes we're too easily guided into a predetermined conclusion by careful wording.
My point is that we shouldn't be so hasty to hold someone accountable for unproven accusations.
This has kinda gotten out of hand. Maybe I have done a passable job this time of restating what was I thought was obvious.

Salty,
I agree. Trying to get your point across via the written (or typed) word can be a pain in the butt. Regardless, this place is all about discussion, whether it be agreeable or disagreeable. I invite students in my classes to engage in discussion all the time. I wouldn't do that if I wasn't ready to hear something that I normally wouldn't wanna hear. I didn't really know much about the situation regarding that instructor that was busted, so I'm kinda just sittin back and reading what everyone says.

If I'm charged with a felony, I bet my CHL will be suspended until I prove my innocence.

Is it possible that her CHL instructor's license wasn't revoked? She is offering a similar deal through another deal website today:

Wondering how common similar is? Someone was telling me that they took the CHL class, and a norther blew in. The instructor had them to shoot the 3 yards and told them "Ok, you all passed." The fellow I knew asked the instructor if they wren't supposed to shoot at more yardages, and the instructor asked him, "YOU want to stay out here in this?" I mean, I understand non-cooporating weather, but still....

The proficiency test simply needed to be re-scheduled.
