Hubby's is still background under review. I put his Springfield 1911 A-1 on layaway this morning. (He doesn't know) And like I said, if my plastic comes before his, I might just hide it. It wouldn't be very nice to be all happy while he's still waiting.

Oh my gosh, it was so funny, the mail man pulled up just as I read your message and NO, it's not here today. Maybe tomorrow.

Hubby is at manufacturing today! Maybe he will have his next week.

Well, I am at work and I know the mail has been deliverd at home. The wife went to work before the
mail came. So, my card might be sitting in the mailbox all alone, afraid, and unprotected.
Maybe I need to leave work early and check to see if this is true or not.

If it is not there, I will leave a Starbuck's coupon in the mailbox as a good luck charm.

I rescued my card from the mailbox after work this evening. 15 Days from receipt of paperwork to in my hand!!!

Texas Lady yours should arrive shortly with a much nicer image on the left side.

As I was posting, I suddenly looked at my card and the fine folks at DPS put the incorrect city
on the card!! Address and zip code are correct. It came to the correct address. They made my
card wrong!! Well, I will call tomorrow and see if I have to put in a change of address and pay
$27.00 or if they will recut one for free. I am still going to use the doggone thing.

oh good grief! No way should you have to pay the change of address fee.

I hope with the 8+ days and counting of manufacturing they're taking with mine they get it right.
