Resisting evil is never easy, but it is also never a waste of time.
Declaring the battle won before it is joined only lets it grow stronger until it must be confronted or it destroys you later.
Being vanquished by evil is bad, to be vanquished by yourself is much worse.
Pick your battles and pick your time, but never give in to evil.

First of all the black panthers case was dismissed by the bush DOJ and second the ACORN "controversy" was proven a lie perpetrated by a chronic liar. Get your facts straight and watch someone else beside Beck.

It very well might be, but not for lack of trying. Do you always give up this easily?
I've pretty much given up on most things political after years of frustration. The elected class does not listen. Party affilliation makes no difference...they are out of touch and the damage they've done at this point likely can't be undone. I vote in every election from city dog catcher to president...and I continually find myself choosing between the lessor of two evils. The whole process stinks and is pretty much hopeless.
Beat up on me if you will, but that's how I feel.
FWIW, I'm a fiscal conservative, a social moderate, and lean towards the libertarian viewpoint. I don't care who you sleep with, I'd rather you not get an abortion but it should be available in extreme cases, and I'd like a lot less government in my life. I'm a public school teacher that believes that all education should be privatized. I don't really fit in the R or L mold.
Loadedliberal...I don't appreciate your personal attack. Eric Holder made the decision not to go after the thugs that were in black suits with batons intimidating voters on the porch of the polling place. That is a fact that is not disputable. I'll watch whomever I wish.

I admit that I went to far, but the fact is the BUSH DOJ was the one who declined to prosecute the "black panthers" for voter intimidation and that is FACT. I'm sorry if you cannot accept that.

Fine all holder did was drop the civil case after the Bush DOJ dropped the criminal case.

You are spinning like a top right now. The Bush DOJ chose to pursue civil charges as opposed to criminal charges. My guess is that because civil cases require a lower burden of proof which would be a tactical decision.
"All Holder did"? He flushed the whole case which many in the DOJ felt would have been an easy victory. That doesn't bother you or did it only bother you when you thought it was all Bush's fault?

To me it was a non-issue, a couple of yoohoos standing outside a polling place holding a baton, ok they "looked' scary but have you heard a single voter complaint, neither did the DOJ there was not a single person who said they felt intimidated so how can you convict someone of voter intimidation when no-one was intimidated? And thre reason the Bush DOJ downgraded it to a civil case was there was not enough evidence for a criminal case. So my take on it is there was not enough for a civil case either since there was no complaining witness. Here is another link.
