Glad to hear you're OK. I picked up a fanny pack/scrote tote from my brother (a Fed agent) for when I ride but haven't used it yet (been so hot). I'm hoping that will be my best option while on the bike.

Glad there was no serious injury. Bikes and guns can be replaced but body parts and lives cant.

Lesson learned--If something doesnt feel right, it probably isnt right--CHECK IT OUT.

Tee boned a car a few years back with my trike. Totaled it, boke my arm, broke his windshield with my back. But was wearing my helmet and that my friends, saved my life. I know, we all get tired of hearing the same speech, but ALWAYS wear a helmet. Guess it will always be in my memory banks. Glad to see you both came out ok.
Now a question. What if he wear like me and was knocked out. The police arrive, ambulance recovers him and he goes to the hospital. What happens to the gun? He can't take it with him into the hospital.

Yep, glad your grandson are OK and that the NFP came through unscathed. I always wonder what will happen in that situation. I ride too and luckily the only time I've dropped a bike was at a slow speed less than 20 going around a corner and got into something slick, back end came around and caused some minor damage but was able to get her the next 2 miles home. Didn't have a CHL then and new to it all now, still don't have a good carry pistol but I've been waiting for a month now for it to come in.

Keep the shinny side up and get back on the saddle soon.

Have read this somewhere else, they will give it to your family member. But a hospital isnt off limits unless posted anyway.
