So wassup has your wife been getting to the mail first and just hid it to torture you? Has Mrs. Strider come up with any labor intensive honeydos lately.

Sorry...I just logged on...I've been cleaning toilets and ironing my wife's dresses...have I missed anything?

This is pure torture! I think it will take longer to arrive in the mail than it did to go through the entire approval process!!!

Don't count Sundays in this. It takes about 4 business days to get to you. Some people, who live closer to Austin, have been getting it in one to two days.

I am on the same boat.. mailed my 7/13 with overnight mail and still waiting for status change. it says for me "Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials."

Hope yours shows up soon! Mine went to "mailed" 2 days after first status change!

But it finally arrived today!

Man, that has got to be 2 of the longest, most frustating 2 weeks I've had in the last 2 weeks!!! (Although, in reality, I know it went through silly fast!)

Man, this is getting annoying. I know its becuae i bought the instructor certificate also, but I just want them to ignore it. I'm on the phone now waiting for them to answer. Hopefully it will be worked on soon.

Not sure how it works with instructors. Hopefully they don't start back at square 1.

YAY!!!! no status update, but they did cancel my Instructor Certificationg...YES!!! means they are actually working on it..

I sent my checklist to PO box 15888, and I sent an email 2 days ago asking if that was an okay PO box.. DPS responded with

"Once documents are reveived by the department, they undergo processing before being entered into the system for the applicant to track. Please allow more time for your record to reflect to receipt of documentation. Right now, it takes 3-4 weeks before we can see a status of your application materials. We do not show receiving any documents from you by mail to this date. You may need to re-mail all your materials to us again"

YAY!! i called the DPS before about the PO box, and he said no problem and it we will still get it so its the same building.. I can't find my reciept from the post office, so I cant track it..I have a meeting with my instructor to get another CHL-100...

I'm upset because that packet has very valuable info in it, and it just disappeared...Well i never got it back so that should mean they ave recieved it...I bet when i re-mail this packet..it will be updated the first week, lol.
