I've always considered this a joke until I met a guy who actually had one and was serious about it.

I really don't see how using any kind of "Badge" to justify having a gun would do anything but ultimatly land me in jail.

To any non-chl who I would show any type of badge to, they are going to assume I'm a LEO and when they find out I'm not, I'm in the soup big time.

Am I the only one who gets this?

Until DPS decides it's something necessary and they by-god issue it in a form that is very hard to duplicate, I'm not intersted.

These badges, except as a prank or a joke, are a bad idea.
