I agree that the meat is tastier than venison, but feral hogs are a real agricultural problem. No landowner would go to the expense of shooting hogs from a helicopter unless it was economically beneficial. [Translation: Hogs do a lot of damage, and the cost of the helicopter shooting is cheaper than letting the hogs go unchecked] I don't really like the waste of meat, but when I catch a rat or mouse in a trap I don't eat them either.

10 years ago some hijackers managed.
They weren't at 30000 ft. And it was the equivalent of hunting fish with dynamite.
