Awesome website. It's now in my favorites. I've submitted 3 locations and will add more if I find more (which I hope doesn't happen).

3 things from a fellow web admin:
-Great idea, very useful.
-Add a "compliance" field where we can mention if we think it is or is not compliant. EX - many Taco C signs are too small.
-Cleanly add Google Adsense, and you could make some spare change to pay for hosting. You can locate them out of the way, but still be neat. It's easy really.
I'll even click through and get you some extra $.
Looks good man.

[edit]Also - maybe add a disclaimer that you don't guarantee accuracy of information, it is for research purposes only, yadda yadda yadda.
Just a thought.

I hope to get a very large list built up!
Good site Russell, but, I hope that it's a small list.

Great site. Personally, I hope the list stays small, VERY SMALL.

PHP and MySQL. The way to go on Linux servers.
Only a few business categories are noted. Are you interested in posted business locations that fall outside those categories?

Edit: Nick, do you happen to know php coding with mysql backend?
Great minds think alike.

Excellent web site, Russell. This will help us to all put some economic pressure on these guys.

Russell wrote:For the "What is a 30.06 posting?" section, do you guys think I should provide what the actual wording should be for a fully compliant 30.06 sign? I would hate to have the site become fairly large in the future and have a business owner visit it, find the exact wording, and post a fully compliant sign. That would kinda of be "shooting ourselves in the foot."
On the other hand, it could help teach fellow CHLers what to look for in a fully compliant sign.
What do you guys think?
I believe you should post it.

Personally, I think any non-compliant signs should not even be mentioned. It will only add more work for you as admin to keep track of them all, and it will be more difficult for readers to keep track of which listings they read on your site were non-compliant or compliant.
If it is non-compliant, then they are not taking the proper steps to keep out CHLers. And I don't think we should go around telling people that their signs are non-compliant to the law such that they can't keep out CHLs until they fix it!!!
