Finally caught an episode and I gotta say I can't stand these people.

<rant on> They represent a personality type that I find tiresome and extremely annoying. You can find these types in any activity, however, they are not exclusive to gun culture. You will find them with cars, wine, beer, stereos, motorcycles, music, etc. They are the people that find their self worth by perceiving themselves as superior to everyone else. They do this by learning every tiny detail about their subject and even making a few up, which isn't really the problem, its that they make sure everyone around them knows how much they know. They just can't shut up about how much they know and how you should bow down before their superior knowledge and experience <rant off>

While I'm certainly no fan of Sons of Guns and the way they make gun enthusiasts look like a bunch of hillbillys, I find the Wyatts over the top unbridled arrogance even more damaging to public perception. Many of us already find gun store culture ridiculous now we have it front and center for the whole country to see. If you wanted to get a gun for the first time and you've seen this show would you want to go anywhere near a gun store?

That there are numerous accounts of their arrogant attitude manifesting itself in their business practices surprises me little.

What's with trying to make thinks look all big baller high class by going to make a gun deal in a helicopter? I'd always heard that profit margins on guns were very low. Surely renting a helo with pilot can't help your cost of goods.
