I used to call myself a conservative...but that all changed about 2 years ago. I still lean to the right for the most part though. This all changed when I decided the GOP tax practices may not be all that great, that there isn't anything wrong with being gay, especially for militRy members (much to the dismay of my peers and religion), that separation of church and state applies across the board, and a few other things. The proverbial nail in the coffin was the other night when a gay service member was boo'd when asking a question in a GOP debate. I'm former mil, and I was absolutely disgusted with the way he was treated. **soap box, sorry!!**
