This one comes up so often, maybe we should make the topic sticky.

Do any of these places have the actual, valid wording on a sign? If not, who cares? You either want the wings enough to walk on in, or you take your business elsewhere because that is what your philosophy dictates. You would think BWW is the mecca for all wing eaters the way these signs are propagating threads.

It wouldn't take that sign to bypass this place. The food is horrible and overpriced. Tastes like it just came off the Schwanns truck out back. I have been to several places and they all seem the same.
In a bit of a defense ploy I wish the original letter of explanation read: We are a sports bar and do get some extremely drunk and rowdy immature folks in here. We are hoping to avoid an accident from the drunks that watch the Cowboys and Texans games, We apologize for any inconvenience. That would be a bit acceptable.

I actually ate some of their food on Thursday evening. The weekly referral group I belong to had a "happy hour" there. Food report:
- The wings:

- The nachos: unremarkable, but edible
- The onion rings: actually not bad
- The cheese sticks: pretty good, but there outta be a law......under Obamacare, they probably will be outlawed
- The mini-corn dogs: mmmmmmmmm
But ALL of it tasted like it was purchased from the freezer section of the local Tom Thumb and then microwaved. It is strictly junk food.......but so are Cheetos, and who doesn't like Cheetos, even secretly?
By the way, I was carrying. So was my wife. So were a couple of other folks who were part of our party. Nobody cares. The fellow the OP mentioned who was concerned about it shouldn't care either.

A member of another forum sent them a comment through their website and got this back:
"Buffalo Wild Wings respects the right of individuals to carry firearms but we do not believe they are appropriate inside of a public restaurant. We are focused on the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all of our guests and have elected to exercise our right to restrict the carrying of firearms in our restaurants. We regret any inconvenience this may cause but believe that this policy is in the best interest of all of our guests and our Team Members."
With all due respect, the member of the other forum is an unmitigated fool. Why even give them any kind of hint that maybe their sign should be revisited because it doesn't apply to CHL? Sometimes, educating the ignorant is the
worst thing you can do. The sign does not apply to CHLs. Ignore it, shut up about it, and carry anyway.
Now, thanks to his letter, there is a risk that management will take a look at their signage and decide that they need to post 30.06 signs. If they do that, tell your buddy thanks for the rest of us.

There are several things I can't abide and "unmitigated fools" are way up on the list. I don't care much for Buffalo Wild Wings either.
...I don't like 'em even if they've been mitigated...they shoulda had the OTHER end worked on...I agree that we need to use common sense in pickin' our battles...or choosin' NOT to do battle...sometimes we oughta not tell everything we know...I'm waitin' for 'em to all run out of wings and start openin' THIGH stores...more and better meat on 'em....
