My wife already thinks I'm slightly daft - I can see her reaction when I tell her I'm headed to CTD to buy some Zombie Max bullets!

She'll be calling the guys with the white coats for me!

A prosecutors dream if someone used this in a self defense shoot!

On what planet? :headscratch

Seriously, the subject would only come up if a person was stupid enough to tell them that's what ammo was used. Marketing names like that don't usually appear on a headstamp. Even if it did come up, any half decent defense attorney should be able to tear it apart. Even juries understand jokes.

Edited out what could have been perceived as a personal attack. None was ever intended. :tiphat:

Very smart advertising heck were all talking about it. I need some ballistics to see how hot they are. Bravo Hornady.

I have to assume that a court will find out everything about a weapon used in a case. Where you store it, where you practice with it, how often, with who, what ammo you use, where you bought it and on and on. If they are going after you and trying to prove a bad shoot then I would expect them to frame you as reckless and gun crazy.

That was what came to mind first when I read this last night, but I understand that it is probably way to serious a stance! Buy 'em shoot 'em and have fun. I just wouldn't use them in a carry weapon.

*I didn't read before the "personal attack" edit, but don't worry about it. I'm not thin skinned. Thanks for the courtesy to take it down though. :tiphat:

Ok, so we have Zombie Max ammo to handle the zombie problem and wooden stakes for vampires but what was it we used to have to use "Silver Bullets" to kill? I remember from way way back before television there was some "thing" that could only be killed with a silver bullet on the radio but can't for the life of me remember what it was. For what it's worth; I don't think the Lone Ranger was a hunter of these things.

I've been known to kill the occasional brain cell with the silver bullet.

Thanks, PawPaw!
It was driving me nuts not being able to remember that factoid. So that explains the market crash in silver bullets; no more werewolves to shoot. What a shame.

I always thought silver bullets were a real class act like the Lone Ranger giving one to someone at the end of each show. Talk about an ego trip! "Here, take this silver bullet to remember me."

Times they are a changin.

I would pick up a few boxes to keep around more of the joke factor. It's not priced any higher than normal SD rounds.
