This is the second time I've been back here even after knowing the original thing has been removed.

I still find that interesting, BTW. If someone sends me an email or a letter or leaves me a voice mail isn't it now my property? Do I not have the right to do what I wish with that? Or was it simply a matter of citing the author?

I seriously doubt there was any copyright interest to a mass email that went out. That said, I don't appreciate it when someone posts an email of mine that was sent as a private communication and that may have been the feelings on the part of the email author. Whether the original post/email was mass mailed or private, I don't know.

Thanks Charles. I was curious. It would be common courtesy to ask if one could forward someone's original words and especially to a public forum like this.

It was most definitively NOT a private email. It was a mass mailed junk email that would normally would have been filtered into the junk mail folder. If the author wanted it kept private he should not have sent it as a mass email to everybody and his brother.

I'll have to look on my email account to see if I still have that email. However if I included his address and home number on the post is because it was part of the email. I did not go looking for his address and home number to add to the post. I copied the email in its entirety as I received it. If I find the original email, I will forward it to you.

I'll have to look on my email account to see if I still have that email. However if I included his address and home number on the post is because it was part of the email. No luck on the email search. Most likely it was on the Spam folder and that gets purged on a regular basis or I deleted it as junk mail. Like I said, any information I posted was part of the email itself. I did not add, delete or altered anything on the posted email, and it was most definitively not a personal email.

His biggest complaint was the address and phone number, so if that was in a mass email, he had no complaint.
