"They’ll likely use anyone with a pulse – and an FFL – in order to keep the business going and the Discovery Channel dollars coming in."

Takes more than a pulse to get and keep the SOT status they need for all the NFA stuff.

I don't see that it would be a big deal using someone elses FFL. That person may want to keep a close eye on the inventory.

personally i think a lot of these shops have an ffl and class 3 license just so they have things that no one else could have legally.

Oh I would totally do that if I could afford it.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Same here! I would spend all the profits buying ammo for my full auto weapons! :fire

NO matter how responsible he seems,
NEVER give your gun to a monkey.

There are a lot of big words in there... does anyone here speak corporate financial legalese?

The general idea is that the owner of Red Jacket Inc issued stock in that company as payment for services provided by the person filing the lawsuit. Then after some length of time the Red Jacket owner (Will) created a new company; Red Jacket LLC. All of the assets were transferred from the Inc to the LLC leaving Red Jacket Inc (and it's issued stock) worthless. The person filing suit (Plantiff) is understandably ticked off after he realizes this and the company presumably starts making much more money after airing of the show. There are some more details but that's the quick version.

Vince left Red Jacket and started his own company. Go to uzitalk, there is a thread on it where Will responded to this. Hard to tell if it is bull or not.

All I know about these guys is I ordered a gun back in April, paid half up front, they called me in August for the second half of the payment (when it supposedly went into production) and I have yet to get a gun from them. They keep promising that it is shipping out "today" and it has never arrived. Their customer service has been less than pleasant and I would certainly not buy from them. It has not been a good experience. The experience has been so bad, it makes me sick to even watch their show.

Will (or at least someone posing as Will) has a different version of events: http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthrea ... ed../page4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(I can't figure out how to link to a specific post over there... scroll down a little over halfway... it's by "Red Jacket" and was posted on Jan 2nd, 2012, at 12:00pm.)

That is Will. He is a regular poster there. He also posts pretty regularly on one of the Saiga forums.

I think under the same user name, too... I don't have any reason to doubt that he is who he says he is, but I'm not familiar enough with either site to claim that a certain user is a certain person without adding qualifiers.
