The great thing about carrying in a fanny pack while on crutches; you are going to look less like a gun toter on crutches with the fanny pack than you would without crutches. Depending on the size of your gun, a fanny pack shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg either.

edit: The fanny pack can be a place to carry all that other stuff that is so hard to reach from crutches: wallet, keys, knife etc. :thumbs2:

Legal to open carry anywhere in Texas :thumbs2:

Actually, I'd be looking at a pouch I can attach to the strong-side crutch at or just below the grip.

If you go with fanny pack I recommend the 5.11 Tactical model

Like the sniper rifle in "The Day of The Jackal".

Well guys, after some trial & error and research, I finally decided on a Maxpedition Versi-pack. I am left-handed, but went with the right hand model versi-pack. I like it because I can carry everything I need. I have practiced drawing and firing while on my crutches. I am now pretty comfortable in doing so. I really like the versi-pack because I can carry my Bible in it when I go to church. I am also carrying a water bottle, first aid kit, medicine, spare magazines, multi-tool, extra flashlights, and a spare knife.
