Full size 1911 in a TDMtm IWB rig.

Lately I haven't been bothering to tuck in the shirt, and I leave the last couple of buttons undone for faster access.

Even though IWB holsters are "in," I personally can't stand them. I never could get comfortable with something wedged between my belt and my body. I can't imagine sitting through 2-hour movie with a 1911 inside my pants. I carry my P238 in a simple, $19.95 Tagua OWB holster. I have to be careful not to forget it's there, and it's extremely accessible; I can draw and commence firing in just under half a second. It disappears under a t-shirt.

Here's a specific lanky and skinny observation. For me (three inches taller and twenty pounds lighter than you, Shane) it means a lot of slack in how my dress shirts fit. I've found that a light, white nylon/velcro shoulder holster is very effective in completely hiding a handgun in the space between my armpit and breast pocket. If I'm wearing a tie, I just leave two buttons un-buttoned. That let's you reach into your shirt to grip it without exposing anything. Works fine whether sitting, driving, or standing. My left arm and/or glasses in breast pocket generally cover the handgun to prevent people from bumping or hugging it. So for me it is the best compromise of deep concealment and accessibility.

I carry a Sig P-239 .40 or an EMP .40 In cool weather where I can wear a sweat shirt I conceal either
very well with a pancake custom made holster.

When warm weather arrives I can carry either with the same pancake and a Hawaiian type shirt and shorts
or a custom made IWB holster with the same shirt option or a loose fitting polo.

When it gets really hot I carry either a fanny pack or a smart holster with my Beretta PX4 SC 9mm, my RugerSRc 9mm
or my Sig P-239 .40. Do not like to carry my EMP either in the fanny pack or the smart holster. I prefer the smart holster
to the fanny pack.

So I have a wide range to cover any of the weather cond/shirt cond of the San Antonio area.

Chuck :cheers2:

Usually my USPc 9mm OWB in a leather holster a friend made me (he's currently working on holsters for my M&P9 and Glock 19). 99% of the time I'm carrying my LCP in a Blackhawk pocket holster. I can't stand most Blackhawk products but the holster works, though it's a little fat ;-)

Need to pick up an OWB holster for my Five Seven as well.

Glock 27 with a desantis iwb and a galco leather belt. I put it on around 7:30am and I don't really notice it until around 10:00pm. It basically disappears all day long.

EDC is a Glock 26 in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB and it almost dissapears with most shirts that aren't tight, I'm 6'0 and 170 lbs. At work it could be pretty bad if I got made (no 30.06 violation but itd be frowned upon) so I got the G26 in a SmartCarry.
If I don't have my glock I have my Ruger LCP in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster strong side front pocket.

Depends on what I'm doing What I'm wearing and what my mood is:
Beretta PX4 SC with DeSantis supertuck II IWB tuckable but seldom tucked.
Ruger P95 with Hume JIT OWB
Beretta P92FS an Uncle Mikes IWB SOB

Carry the the Storm most, but carry the other guns at least once a week. Don't want them feeling neglexted or ignored

I carry a full size m&p 40 everyday in a com-tac minotaur (sp?) Iwb. It conceals very well as long as my shirt isn't tucked in like I'm in th military. I am always surpried that all my chl buddies think it would be so hard to conceal anything but a tiny little 380 when they see me and know that I have mine. (Regularly comment that it surprises them nothing shows) id you take the time to learn what works and what doesn't you can carry anything. And like every one else has said people are oblivious don't worry about a slight print.

My daily carry has been a Glock 20 in a Crossbreed Supertuck. Never had any problems but I am 5'10 275lbs. If i need something smaller I carry my Glock 29. Yes I am a big fan of the 10mm

I have a number of carry guns (see my sig below), but most often my Glock 26 in a Galco SkyOps holster - which is virtually invisible. I like the tuckable holsters that can't really be seen, so I have a few Desantis Sof-Tucks for some of my pistols (Colt, Ch Spec, SP101 and Glock) I also have a couple of Miami Classic shoulder holsters that I like when I know I'll be wearing a jacket all the time.

Took awhile, but after carring for a few months I've finally learned just the right position to wear the holster (for me) so that I don't even feel it when I drive or sit for long periods of time.

For frame of reference, I'm 5'8" and about 170-175lbs, and I've been carrying a Ruger SR9 in a Kholster. Takes some getting used to the weight, but otherwise, no real issues.
