I feel perfectly safe with this holster, and the retention is outstanding.
Would that holster work with a Lasergrips?

I've seen a few 1911's that were carried in a holster with a strap and each of them shared similar scratches- from the snaps dragging down the slides upon draw strokes.

I think there is a better way- unless you don't mind scarring it up.
