Well, no luck yet. I did get a couple of serious nibbles. One guy is interested in trading me for a Knights Armament SR25 he has, which is exactly the kind of rifle I'm trying to buy. He may be phoning me tomorrow. Otherwise, I got a whole lot of "MAN! Is that thing for sale? How much you want for it? Can I hold it? You mind if I look through the scope?" But nobody actually interested in negotiating a deal. I'm probably going back tomorrow afternoon and try again.

I think someone is jealous of this fine black stallion. This was molded out of the lava from that volcano from Lord of the Rings movie. So this is one tough cookie.

So, all joking aside.... does anybody want to make me a reasonable offer on this rifle? I am open to hearing serious offers.

You've put together a wonderful rifle TAM. My father carried an M14 in the Army and he's always spoken highly of it. I wish I had the money to purchase this. Thanks for posting and good luck with the sale.

While that would do the trick, I certainly wouldn't want to see any of my friends here go into debt over this gun. It's a beauty, but it's just a gun. Thanks for the sentiment though!

Beautiful piece. I'm sure you already thought of this but have you tried Gunbroker as well. I've had reasonable success with them. Good luck.
