Where can I buy these "automatic weapons" which seem to be so easily available in the United States? My local gun dealer seems to be out of grenades and full auto M-16's. Also, despite the easy availability of firearms in the US, we just don't seem to be slaughtering each other at the same rate as the Mexicans.

I dunno, but let me know if you find out. I need some frags for the Zombie Apocolypse.

For the record, I think the media is playing off of the old historical fact that America at one time sold weapons/ammo to Mexico.. and have blown it out of proportion. It's aggravating. Yes, the United States sold rebel Mexican forces during the Mexican Revolution a ton of weapons and ammo.. but that doesn't exactly support a current tendency to do so. Last time I checked, the Cartels aren't using old lever action American rifles.. they are using a ton of AK's and whatnot though.

America at one time sold weapons/ammo to Mexico..
Hillary still does
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-500202_162- ... g-cartels/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
U.S. has approved the sale of more guns to Mexico in recent years than ever before through a program called "direct commercial sales."
official tracking all those guns sold through "direct commercial sales" leaves something to be desired
Apparently she sold them so many, they felt a need to put up a sign ...

This is the best policy that I have seen. As usual, Mexico is trying to blame the failures of its own government on the United States. Well, it is not my fault that the Mexican government and officials are so corrupt, and it is not my fault that 70 years of mismanagement by the PRI on top of all the other unfortunate history of that country has left it in a shambles. Neither is it my fault that corrupt officials in Mexico and the rest of Latin America sell weapons, bought from the US for their military and police, to the drug dealers.

Many of the cartels' guns came from Holder and other government officials.
