A good friend of mine is a game warden. They have the same written policy as the DPS. The fist time I rife with him, he asked if I understood that I could not carry my weapon with us. I told him yes. He then asked if I understood that I could use any of his weapons if I felt my life were in danger. I told him that the minute his life was in danger my was too. I told him at that moment any weapon within my reach would be in my hand. He just grinned and said I'm glad you understand this.
